What Is the TIP? is a brief document and story map that explains what the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is.
The TIP is a federally-mandated capital budget or program of projects that would use federal transportation funds in the five-county southeastern Pennsylvania region. The TIP is adopted every two years by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC). The County of Delaware is a voting member of the DVRPC Board and participates in the development of the TIP and the list of projects in the TIP.
