Shift: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, extended hours as needed, 24 hour on call for emergencies
Salary: $46,995 Annually
Inspects, installs, and repairs pipes for plumbing, steam, gas equipment, and fixtures to maintain the HVAC, water drainage, and other systems within the County in good working conditions in accordance with local and State plumbing ordinances.
Installs and repairs motorized valves, pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures in water, gas, HVAC, and drainage systems including but not limited to cleaning and repairs of steam traps, motorized valves, unclogging drains, replacing return lines, installing toilets and other fixtures.
Duties shall be routine and performed according to established practices and procedures.
Makes routine inspections continually of plumbing fixtures and equipment through County Buildings to detect steam, water leaks, or defective parts of the operation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School graduate or equivalent
3-5 years previous experience in respective trade and/or certification if applicable. All positions are required to be on 24-hour call-in for emergency situations
