Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Director of the Pre-Trial/Bail Services Unit:

Monitors behavior of approximately 25-30 clients on electronic monitoring and house arrest, for conformance with the conditions of bail imposed by the Court

Installs electronic monitoring units and unhooks clients as ordered by the Court.

Conducts intake interview to determine, recommend, and arrange for type and extent of treatment or rehabilitative services

Advises counsels and assists clients to foster personal, social and/or economic adjustment with the Community.

Contingent by client behavior, may recommend incarceration and/or attends hearings for clients who have been rearrested or who violate their pretrial status.

Performs related duties as required.


Bachelor's degree preferably in social Science with Coursework in Penology, Counseling, Casework Management, etc.

Physical Requirements: Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

Scheduled Hours: 37.5 hour week, Schedule may vary day to day. Occasional overtime required. Frequent travel to and from client's home, job sites, treatment centers, etc.
