Atinuke (Tinu) Moss grew up in Yeadon, PA, graduating from Penn Wood High School. Afterwards she attended Duke University, where she graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy, African American Studies, and a minor in Geology. Upon graduation from college, Tinu began a career as a Financial Consultant working for Prudential Securities in New York and Merrill Lynch in Philadelphia.
Although she enjoyed helping individuals navigate the financial markets, she decided to pursue a legal career. Tinu enrolled in Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate as well as an LLM in Taxation. During her time at law school, she had the high honor of receiving the E. Wallace Chadwick Memorial Scholarship; interning for the City of Philadelphia Law Department; and, serving as a law clerk for Judges Sandy L.V. Byrd and Lydia Kirkland.
After graduating from law school, Tinu worked with large firms in Philadelphia handling Pharmaceutical litigation. She then transitioned into the general practice of law, primarily practicing in Delaware County. For the last decade, Tinu had the pleasure of representing individuals on matters of family, criminal and civil law. She has served on the court-appointed list for juvenile criminal matters, in hopes to quell the recidivism of young offenders. In addition to her legal practice, Tinu Moss once served as the Borough Manager for Yeadon Borough, and currently sits on the board of the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in Media, PA.
