As a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will be responsible for the daily operations and overall fiscal management of the Delaware County Department of Human Services administrative program fund and accounts payable unit. The primary focus of this position involves budgeting, accounting, and closing of the Department of Human Services administrative ledgers using various cost accounting formulas, in collaboration with responsible fiscal staff. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you will also provide guidance and supervision to a team of fiscal staff.
One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
You must pass a background investigation.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
o Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
