The Voting Services Coordinator is responsible for the training of election team members, seasonal temporary employees and volunteers. The Voting Services Coordinator must have strong organizational and communication skills as well as an understanding and deep appreciate of the important seasonal employees and volunteers play in the execution of smooth and reliable elections.
Under the direction of the Election Director, the Voting Services Coordinator will:
Create and maintain training materials and programs.
Provide regular full- and part-time employee training with an emphasis on employee cross-training.
Coordinate with Human Resources the seasonal hiring timeline and process.
Provide training and onboarding support to seasonal temporary employees.
Provide just-in-time training to volunteers.
Implement and manage a voter hotline and phone bank.
Work with Central Purchasing to procure needed equipment, supplies and services.
Performs all other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
High attention to detail.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
