During the May 20 public meeting, Delaware County Council adopted a preliminary list of projects to be undertaken as part of its 2020 Annual Housing and Community Development Action Plan.
Funding for these projects is available from the Federal Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investments Partnership and Emergency Solutions Grant Programs. More than $5.9M in HUD program funds were directed to public improvement, social service and affordable housing initiatives that will assist the County’s low and moderate income residents.
Funding under these programs is very competitive. This year, applicants submitted funding requests for more than $11 M in projects. Council will accept public comment on the proposed list of projects until June 22, 2020. Written comments can be submitted to:
