Delaware County is announcing the opening of three Voter Service Centers to help voters during this year’s General Election. All three locations will be open through 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
Each Voter Service Center will allow Delaware County residents to register to vote, check their registration status, determine their polling location, request a mail-in or absentee ballot, or drop off* a mail-in or absentee ballot. Residents can also ask the trained staff for information related to the upcoming election.
The locations of the Voter Service Centers and their hours of operation are:
Media - Government Center Building (201 W. Front Street, Media, PA)
Mon/Wed/Fri: 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. | Tue/Thu: 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Sat: 9:00 a.m. - noon
Upper Darby - 20 South 69th Street, 4th Floor, Upper Darby
Mon/Wed/Fri: 7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. | Sat: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. | Not open Tue/Thu
Chester City Hall - 1 Fourth Street, Chester.
Mon-Fri: 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. | Sat: 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Please note: Voters must wear a mask while visiting any of these locations. They must also practice social distancing of at least 6 feet and wash their hands before and after visiting. All three locations will be sanitized and follow CDC-recommended safe practices.
Secure Ballot Drop Boxes will be located across the County. The drop boxes will allow voters to cast their mail in ballot. The County is coordinating and installing the drop boxes. Updates on the locations will be posted on the County’s Delco Votes! Website: www.delcopa.gov/vote/index.html
* According to Pennsylvania state law, the third-party return of ballots is prohibited unless the person returning the ballot is rendering assistance to a disabled voter or an emergency absentee voter. Such assistance requires a declaration signed by the voter and the person rendering assistance. Copies of these forms can be found on our website.
