Vaccine to be available at the Yeadon site on June 3 and June 10

The Delaware County COVID-19 Task Force will offer the Pfizer vaccine this Thursday and next Thursday at the Delaware County Wellness Center. The Wellness Center, located at 125 Chester Avenue in Yeadon, will be open June 3 and June 10 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Wellness Center has been dispensing the Moderna vaccine for months at the Yeadon location, and is now also offering the Pfizer vaccine, which has been approved by the CDC for use in individuals 12 years of age and older, on these select dates.

Vaccinations are free. No identification, health insurance, or appointments are required.

Second doses will be scheduled on site, following the recommended 21 day wait period.

Individuals can make an appointment for the vaccine by visiting the County website at delcopa.gov/vax or can walk-in without an appointment. The website also provides additional information about COVID-19 pop-up vaccination locations, testing and resources.
