The 2020 Census Redistricting Data (P.L. 94-171) Summary Files are now available from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Delaware County's total population went from 558,979 to 576,830, a 3.2% increase which outpaces the state at 2.4%. The County retained its status as Pennsylvania’s 5th largest county.

The Delaware County Planning Department has created a Census 2020 Updates and Release page to update the public on where to find and view new data.

This page includes a link to 2020 Census Demographic Data Map Viewer for the U.S., a link to download new files, and a link to static and interactive maps of population change from 2010-2020 for Delaware County’s municipalities.

This data is currently available for download through the U.S. Census Bureau’s FTP site. The Census Bureau plans to release the data in a more user-friendly way on data.census.gov at the end of September, 2021.
