U.S. citizens who are not yet registered to vote or who need to update their registration address or name have until Monday, October 18 to register for the upcoming Nov. 2, 2021 Municipal Election. Those already registered at their current address do not need to take further action.
In order to vote in Delaware County, voters must be a U.S. citizen and live at their registration address at least 30 days before the election and must be 18 years of age or older on or before Election Day. Voter-registration forms may be submitted on-line, in-person, or by mail.
Please note: There is no guarantee that a voter registration application mailed this week will be received and processed by the Oct. 18 deadline. Forms received after the deadline—regardless of the postmark date—cannot be processed for the November 2, 2021 election. Voters who need to register for the first time or update their name or address may visit www.pavoterservices.pa.gov (no later than 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 18) or in-person at our Media Voter Service Center (no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 18).
The Voter Service Center is located at the Government Center Building, 201 W. Front St. in Media, PA, and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Citizens registering in-person are reminded to bring two forms of ID, at least one of which shows the voter’s current address, such as a Pennsylvania driver’s license, PennDOT ID, current bank statement, pay stub, or utility bill.
