Temperatures and humidity are expected to rise Friday, May 20 and through the weekend. Temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 80’s on Friday, May 20 and Saturday’s temperature may be record-breaking and reach 96 degrees. Sunday’s temperature is expected to reach 93 degrees.

Remember to stay hydrated with non-alcoholic and non-caffeinated drinks such as water, juice, and sports drinks, wear light-colored and loose-fitting clothing, and find shaded areas to get relief if you are outside for extended periods of time.

Please check in on elderly loved ones and neighbors and those at risk. Remember to not leave pets outside for long periods of time or in the car.

COSA has a limited number of fans available for seniors. Fans have also been distributed to COSA's Senior Centers. Residents who are interested in a fan can call COSA for more information- 610-490-1300.
