Delaware County Proposes FY2024 Budget on December 5

Delaware County Council will discuss the Proposed FY2024 Budget on December 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. during Council’s Agenda Meeting. A public hearing regarding the Proposed Budget will be held on December 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the County Council Public Meeting Room, located on the 1st floor of the Government Center (201 W. Front St., Media PA.) The hearing will be livestreamed here: https://www.delcopa.gov/departments/budgetmanagement.html.

A copy of the Proposed Budget is available during business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. in the County Clerk’s office, located on the 2nd floor of Government Center.

It is currently anticipated that a first reading of the Budget Ordinance will be held on December 6 at 6:00 p.m. during Council’s Public Meeting, the second reading of the Budget Ordinance will be held on December 13 at 6:00 p.m. during Council’s Public Meeting and that Council will adopt a final budget for FY 2024 during that meeting.

The Adopted Budget will be posted online once it is final.
