DCHD Hosts Empowering One Another Event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) is excited to host its “Empowering One Another” event in partnership with the American Cancer Society and Jefferson Health. This important event efforts to raise awareness about the significance of breast cancer screenings will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wellness Center at Yeadon. 125 Chester Ave., Yeadon, PA 19050. Registration is required.

Join us for a morning filled with education, inspiring speakers, and engaging games designed to spread awareness about breast cancer and the critical role that early detection plays in saving lives. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, and empower one another in the fight against breast cancer. Light refreshments and giveaways will be provided.
