The Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) is proud to announce the opening of its new Teen STI Clinics available from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm every other Tuesday beginning May 28th. These specialized clinics will be available at the Wellness Center at Chester 151 W. 5th Street, Chester, Pa. 19013. As a safe place for teens to talk about sex, this initiative reflects DCHD’s commitment to promoting and safeguarding the sexual health of everyone in the community. Teen STI clinics are available on a walk-in basis and do not require appointments.
Own your health, be informed, stay protected, and get tested! With convenient after school hours these teen STI clinics will offer sexual health information, free condoms, and confidential STI testing services by DCHD’s team of experienced and compassionate healthcare professionals. Understanding the importance of privacy and respect, DCHD is creating a welcoming environment where teens can feel comfortable and at ease during their visit. DCHD’s goal is to empower young individuals with the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions about their sexual health.
"At the DCHD Teen Clinic, teenagers will find a supportive environment where their health and well-being are our paramount concerns," said Delaware County Health Department Director Melissa Lyon. “We invite teenagers to understand the importance of sexual health by visiting DCHD’s Teen STI Clinics for information, testing, and free condoms. Your health is our priority, and DCHD is committed to assisting you every step of the way.”
As a reminder, DCHD’s regular STI/HIV clinic regular hours remain available for all residents as posted on DCHD’s website at https://delcopa.gov/health/sti.html.
