Influenza (Flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and at times the lungs. Flu is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death.
Beginning on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 the Delaware County Health Department, in partnership with Personic Health Care will expand its existing COVID-19 testing site at the Delaware County Wellness Center at Yeadon to include free influenza (flu) and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) rapid antigen testing. Located at 125 Chester Ave, Yeadon PA., the hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. Testing will not be offered on Thursdays or Sundays.
