Abstract: The Media-Smedley Connector Trail Feasibility Study examined the ideal alignment and design for an east-west bicycle and pedestrian trail connecting Smedley County Park and the Mineral Hill Area Parks via a route through the center of Media Borough. It identifies the best potential route after examining all possible alternatives and details the trail’s associated feasibility and potential costs, along with recommended segments and phasing for development. A concept plan illustrating the location of the recommended trail and all associated design features (e.g., trailheads, landscaping, etc.) is contained in the report.
