Delaware County Elections Update: Internet Disruption Affects Livestream Availability at The Wharf

Home / Elections / Elections News / Delaware County Elections Update: Internet Disruption Affects Livestream Availability at The Wharf

Delaware County is committed to ensuring transparency throughout the election process. While the livestream cameras recording the processing of ballots at the Delaware County Election Facility at the Wharf in Chester have been recording and videotaping continuously, a break in the Crown Castle fiber-optic service that provides internet connectivity has disrupted the ability to livestream video footage in real time.

We are working closely with our technology partners to restore the connection as quickly as possible. Full recordings from all cameras will be made accessible to the public, ensuring that every moment remains available for review.

We want to assure residents that, despite this temporary interruption, all video recordings remain secure and intact.

The Delaware County Election Bureau appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue promptly. Our commitment to election integrity and transparency remains steadfast, and we will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
