What time(s) are incarcerated persons released from GWHCF?
Typical release times are 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM

How will I know if my loved one is being released?
They will be given an opportunity to make a free phone call in our Outtake Unit.

If my loved one is being released and I can’t pick them up, what are their options?
If an incarcerated person doesn’t have a ride, they will be provided a bus pass.

How do I get to the facility?
The facility address is 500 Cheyney Road Thornton, PA 19373. Cheyney road is off Baltimore Pike/US 1

I was sentenced to weekends. What do I do if have a valid medical marijuana card?
It must be faxed to (Fax 615-466-3559) and emailed to rootm@co.delaware.pa.us.

Who can I reach out to if I want someone to follow up on a complaint or concern that isn’t associated with the facility?
You can reach out to the PA Prison Society by calling 215-564-4775 or visiting their website https://www.prisonsociety.org/

Can I walk in GWH facility compound?
All visitors to the facility are required to arrive by vehicle. There is no walking along the facility ground permitted by visitors.

Can I send a photo album to the facility for my loved one or digitally scan in a photo album via the tablet?
